Feedback from participants is key in helping you assess the effectiveness of a training course. The participants can provide you with insight on what worked and what didn’t, as well as ideas on how you can improve the training course in future.
We’ve designed a simple learner feedback template that will provide you with key information on the participants’ experience. It takes no more than 5 minutes to complete, and we recommend that you make it mandatory for all participants to complete the form at the end of the training course.
How to use this document to receive feedback from participants: step-by-step instructions
- Download the free learner feedback template here: Right click and ‘save as’
- Fill up the logistical details on the training course: name of the course, the trainer, the date(s) of the course and the size of the group.
- Hand out the feedback forms before the end of the training course and inform the participants that they are required to complete it.
Once you received the feedback forms, take the time collate the results and go through the key findings. Review any specific comments or suggestions that are given and consider if you can take them on board to improve the next round of the training course.
